| About UsFrom Mayday to Happy days. The return of PCRS In 1990, Jimi John, Don Cooper, Scratch Gordon and Keith Richards AKA "Original ruff " ( RIP ) from the black community in Southampton set up the Peoples Choice Radio Station, broadcasting live but underground it gained thousands of followers in hampshire until its demise in 1991. However it returned under many guises through the 90s and again 2003/4 when it broadcast on Unity 24 ( now Unity 101 ) The PCRS crew with other interested youngsters has revived the brand via an internet based forum. To coincide with Black History Month, PCRS now based at the Afro Caribbean Centre , will host live shows featuring Djs and local artist , talk shows and interviews. All shows will interact with the community. Playing a wide range of urban music , PCRS is inclusive and all embracing .
